The CITY OF GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI will receive proposals for the POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTSPHASE 2 project located at the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport. Proposals will be received at the Council Chambers of City Hall, 340 Main Street, Greenville, Mississippi, until 3:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals received after the stated time will not be accepted.
The work is generally described as follows:
This project involves the improvements to the potable water system on the campus of the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport. More specifically, improvements will include the replacement of primary water mains within the City of Greenville’s Airport Campus. Included in the project will be the removal and replacement of water valves and fire hydrants, installation of new service lines, roadway repairs and grassing in the affected areas.
An informational Pre-Bid Conference Call will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Bidders are urged to participate in the meeting / teleconference in order to submit an informed bid. Contact the office of the Engineer for phone number and meeting ID required to join the call.
Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of Ninety (90) days.
